Working at a startup, 1st role in data, 70k. Within 6 mo I became primary BI analyst working on projects across all departments. Honest opinion - student debt forgiveness is a great start but only a bandaid. And a pretty bad one at that. These loans should never have been needed in the first place. Public university should be affordable with a part time job and federal grants - like it was up until the ‘80s. But states have shirked their responsibility to provide affordable college education to their residents and now we are in a big shi**y mess because of it and everyone wants to call it a handout.
