I am not sure how, but I have never had to present a case study for an interview. I have the prompts but not sure how granular to get. How in depth with companies get when your knowledge is external and based on a few weeks of shopping around? Any advice?

From interview perspective, I enjoyed lucidworks interview as the interviews taken by quality people compared to other two companies. But it is a startup.

I think I bombed a case interview with Chartis for an associate consultant position. The case was in excel and required me to manipulate the data via share screen with the interviewer. I couldn’t get some functions to work and was struggling to go through the 16 page PDF of data. I had several answers correct but needed to walk through the remaining questions with some guidance. My other 3 case interviews went well and I had great conversation with the partner for behavioral interview. Thoughts?

Weeks later the recruiting manager shares they went with someone internally, no feedback. Today I see the same position being promoted. Then he said usually no questions is a good sign. He mentioned there are 2 other final interviews today so he needs to decide from 3 people.
