New promote. So I figure senior analyst role is fine if it is equivalent to a more experienced senior in consulting. But I just don't know what the expectations are for those roles.
How long have you been a manager?
Titles vary widely across organizations. A vp at one firm could be a senior manager/director at another. Be thorough in your diligence and make sure you feel comfortable with the peer group at whatever level you look at--path forward isn't always as clearly defined (or speedy) as it is in consulting.
Yes I would go with Senior Analyst. That way you will get to know the business really well before moving on to manager.

Depends on the firm, our SMS would be director or sr. director but big 4 has more levels so I'd taken an SM as a manager
