Anyone have tips for cover letter/resume to stand out?
They are huge on not negotiating salary there based on their blog.
Anyone know the base salary/expected commission? - It requires you to answer on the application. I would be so thrilled to work at the company I just want to put what they start out at.

Not always. Plenty of lateral offers these days - from T2, b4, ACN, non-traditional, etc.
I made the move back when I joined from B4 manager to McK associate. The expectations for the EM role are much more than B4 manager and there’s a reason they don’t let you lateral except for very rare circumstances because they don’t want you to fail. Can be a temporary hit to ego but in the grand scheme of your career it makes no difference.
Yea from what I have heard from friends that worked at MBB, the overall intensity of the work and the required hours to keep everything afloat is considerably more. My WLB as a manager at my healthcare specific firm as a manager is not terrible, so might be hard to gear up for that shift down and then back up…even if there is more money. Thanks for the insights - something to think on in the future.
I was in this group for 5 years. Went down a level during transfer, have absolutely zero regrets. DM me if you’d like to learn about the role / group and why I think it’s an awesome opportunity even if it feels like a setback
