I am observing that in layoffs.. The percentage of non tech guys affected are more than tech.
Is there a specific reason?

I’ve been laid off for around 4 months now. Multiple interviews. Multiple rejections. Tons of applications/ resumes submitted. Crickets. Anyway to find out if you’re being blacklisted?

I'm pretty good at my job. I have to say that because what I'm asking could be skewed if I wasn't, but logically I know I am. Does anyone else have an intense fear of getting fired? I started my career at a toxic agency, and in my personal life I've watched so many of my friends struggle for months (sometimes years) to find a job. How do I handle this fear of being fired for some reason or another? Because that anxiety is not just affecting my overall work quality but also my life in general.

Question for those that are familiar with how severance pay works. I received a package a while back and was paid bi-weekly severance. The payments ended a few months ago but just the other day I had a severance deposit. Curious if it’s possible to get additional payment at this point or does this look like a mistake? I know the logical answer might be to just call but I’ll be honest in that I am still looking for a job and this would definitely help me. Thanks for your advice!

From research, it’s seems like an SAE requires 3-4 YOE and an AS required 4-6 YOE. However, for those who have experienced this jump in their own career, do you feel the account sup role you landed to be more “junior level” than a “normal” AS role normally is? Did your team feel adequately supported, or should they have hired a more experience AS?
