I am on bench for a while now and these laying off threads are really scaring me now...

Bench has been deep lately for strategy analysts. Word is there’s talks going on with a silicon valley firm… Upvote if you’ve heard the same.

I wish every Sunday could feel like this. When you've just rolled off a project and in the pleasant shade of some beach time

I have the option of staying on a tech project that I don't like for 4 months, or roll off early and try to get on an interesting strategy project that starts in a month. Should I take the risk?

Anyone else enjoying this holiday time on the bench?

Am I the only one who feels like being on the bench during 'slow' Thanksgiving/Christmas Season makes you feel like don't have a job. Don't even want to see my chargeability.

Finally staffed after first 5 months on the bench, sinus infection and stomach flu first week on the project.

To significant other: Yea I took PTO today. (Proceed to get on 2 hr call, 30 minute post call, 2 hr of churning out client request, review of deliverable by partner, issue to client. And its 7PM.

Delayed at LGA? Why ? Getting the ice off the plane exterior. But hey, that means I can feast on the iPad breakfast ;)
