I have had my medicals done for Australia Visa. Also, verified the medicals have been submitted to the department. Can someone please advise how much time will it take to finalise the visa after medicals submission?
It will be really helpful if someone can share their experiences?

Many who repatriate are lured by a vibrant startup scene in India that is drawing unprecedented capital from venture and private equity firms and is buoyed by an effervescent market for stocks. But they are also disenchanted with what they perceive as America’s bleak and hopeless immigration landscape, where the wait times for green cards are tortuously long, and the limits on launching startups for newcomers are highly restrictive.

HI folks,
My current CTC is very low with respect to my YOE. CTC : 5.2 lpa
YoE : 4
Tech stack : Python , MLops
But now my manager has initiated H1B visa for me and the visa process is in progress.
Is it worth to wait till the H1B process completes to work in U.S (or) should i make a switch immediately. .

I am in a confusion,
I work for tcs and for retention, tcs is offering Canada onsite and they need 4 to 5 months to process the visa
I have 2 offers in hand one is CTS (16.3+ 70000) and HCL (19+3)
Hcl is pakka support project (operations) no chance of development. I am having 10 YOE and completely in development.
CTS not sure about project.
Fishes, can you please help me understand which is a better option that I have.

Unpopular opinion: the latest changes to H1B visa program are acceptable and ultimately serve a good purpose in the long run.

You would have to start over again
Your PWD should be coming along in a month or two
Next recruiting period for 90 days
Next submitting perm . You should hear back on perm within 6-9 months from submission date.
Followed by filing I-140 in premium which you should have result with in 15 days.
You have to stay employed with the employer for 6 months from date of i140 approval so that they cannot revoke i140.
It’s lengthy process my friend.
I’m on perm step and staying put for another year and I should say it is abuse at work.
Understand if you want to get out now and be at an employer (hopefully good one but who knows right) and deal with this process in the future
It’s a lengthy pro
Thank you for sharing and m sorry your work isn’t any better either😣
Same boat as a Canadian citizen, Indian born, moved on TN go H1b and now on perm, should have done l1 after a year in Canada. I have 20 years of experience and have to now deal with the crap. Don’t hate my job, but can’t look for 2 years at min until i140 approved. Further, my green card wait is 12 years lol..
Yes - need to go back to Canada, work for a year, can’t travel out to clients for 1 year consistently. Take pay cut etc etc.
Is it easier if I switch after perm and i140 gets approved ?
You need to complete 180 days from PERM approval date to ensure the firm doesn’t revoke your PERM.
Sorry to hear about this! As a tech recruiter and immigration specialist, I can provide some alternatives. Let me know if you want to connect!
