Preferences > File Handling > Enable Legacy Save As

During a meeting on Micro-Aggressions, in which most example comments were about appearance, the teams concluded that using Video cameras in meetings was more inclusive and helped with community.

Is it just me or does that invite more opportunity for appearance-based micro-aggressions?

Had my annual review earlier today and I’m not happy with the raise and bonus offered. Aside from the managing partner, there were several other non-equity partners in the room and I didn’t feel comfortable negotiating in front of everyone. I’d rather speak to the managing partner alone as he’s the only one who has the ability to make decisions. I’m an in-house brand-side designer my whole career (6YOE)— is it pretty much impossible at this stage to pivot towards agency/design studio jobs?

Thoughts on working in-house early in career versus the other way around? I’m a student and my past experience and internship offers are heavy on the in house ‘startup’ d2c brand archetype... Will this hurt my chances of later going into an agency role? Concerned if I’m pigeonholing myself too early.

My manager keeps pushing me to insert myself earlier in the projects to be more conceptual, & I try, but I’m still being brought in late, without basic context from CDs. He says he can talk to them but it’s better if I do. He says he’s always available for support, but when I reach out, he’s impossible to reach. I can’t grow & get promoted without space and support from my team & I don’t want be too aggressive & have that negatively impact how my teammates see me. I feel stuck, any advice?

I’ll never forget when my stepdad was on his death bed, in a coma and my manager asked if I could still work since they had so much going on. I remember feeling guilty that I couldn’t get myself to work and feeling guilty after the fact for being so distracted. It’s been a year since he passed, I miss him so much and I’m convinced that lady was the worst person I’ve ever met. This among other things 🤮
