I am really interested in pursuing a role in forensics and making an internal switch from audit. Any advice on making this happen?

Start with your counselor and then reach out to your people advisor to set up meetings with your local Forensics partner and find out if there is a need. What level at EY are you? We are in need of staff and seniors right now so that would be the easiest level to switch into.

To be honest I’m unsure of how you’d get started, but I do know of at least one person who has moved over so it should be possible. Perhaps start the discussion with your counselor?

Typically, every firm has a process that you can go through for internal transfers between service lines. Reach out to your HR contact to inquire what that process is and how to learn more about your options. Sometimes firms will let you switch 100% immediately, sometimes you can go over a few months working onto some forensics projects while wrapping up some audits (for example), sometimes firms will ask you to do 1 more interim or busy season and agree to move you after that.

Ask internally what the process is and if you aren't happy with it you can always change firms. Good luck!

I'm currently working as Cloud support Analyst focused on Azure AD Connect, cloud provisioning sync and Azure AD. I am looking for a job change but not able to get anything.
Could someone guide if it is a better idea to dive deep into Azure Architecture or is there a chance to switch the profile to Business Analytics/Data Analytics?

I absolutely can’t stand when managers message you half way into a meeting “are you taking notes” like if you wanted me to take notes you should have told me before the meeting bc we didn’t have any kind of understanding that this meeting in which we are presenting information to someone else needed *us* to take notes
