If a process is broken you don’t shut the company down you fix the process. That’s what is wrong. No one is saying everything is great the farmers are great - sure they can do things better but taking someone’s right to make a living is what is not ok. These people literally feed an entire country which has so much population. So why shouldn’t an environment activities simultaneously care about the environment and human rights?
1. I am saying that environmental activists can’t support practices that are endangering environment.
2. I have been doing some work about enhancing farming practices at my own farm in India by taking some western help. If I can do that, then people who run a full time environment business and gather funding can do it too. But they don’t at all.
3. Farming is like any other business which should be regulated. You have emission norm for a chemical factory, there should be same norms for the farming too.
I am not against farmer’s rights to protest (being from a farmer’s family) but against the intrusion of these opportunistic activists into the protest.
Neither environment nor farm issues is their real agenda, it's something else, something more dangerous. These people literally want to use any protests to destroy India. It shouldn't be a surprise to you since many people in this bowl support the Khalistani terrorist movement. A quick test for them would be to ask if they condemn the Khalistani movement openly or not?

Who in RS voted for the law and who voted against it? Was there complete silence when people were asked about their objection to the laws? If you can show evidence of either, I will accept the laws were passed with due process.
I believe they are supporting it from a human rights perspective not necessarily an environmental one. But i may have misinterpreted
What about Police’s Human rights who had to jump 15 feet to save their lives? 80 of them in hospital, many in ICUs.

D1 No they do not ... 1/2 the food they produce rots. Government is incentivizing them to produce food that can be used (pulses for eg) but they want to continue producing paddy and live of Govt money
