For all 🐠 interviewing!

Sainsbury's Has anyone interviewed at Sainsbury's DTD? I have a Tech + Behavioural Competency Interview scheduled for a Cloud Engineer role and would like to know how it would be?
Any employees who are currently working in DTD?
Could you please shed some light on how the general work culture is and how's the hybrid working flexibility?
Thanks in advance!

I’ve applied to AE and AM positions at Amazon and Uber but I can never seem to get past the 1st interview. I have 7yrs sales experience and consistently top3 AM, I sell automotive chemicals and provide business development consolation. I used to have the ability to see a breakdown of past sales, but my company took that away (although I was able to save 2019,2020,&2021 numbers). Any advice on how to get past the 1st interview with hiring manager?
@other BD folks at Deloitte KPMG EY PwC - how technical are you? I got brought in to sell a tech heavy solution that combines Red Hat, Salesforce, Service Now and I feel like I’m WAY out of my depth. I’m hitting numbers now but still have a heavy dose of imposter syndrome.
Any tips on how to get more technical? Or how to manage as a non-technical person in a very technical space??

Typically these types of questions are presented so they can see your critical thinking skills and how you break down problems.
If someone asked me that off the cuff, I'd start by saying:
Assume the US population is 325 million.
Assume 60% of US population is Christian.
Assume that average US family size is 2.5 people.
That gets you to 78 million families. Of those families, assume some use reusable trees, can't afford a tree... Maybe 10%.
So you're left with 70+million, without taking others into account (businesses, public buildings, etc) and you can get a realistic margin of error.
I don't the intent is to get to the correct answer, but show that you can tackle an unknown problem off the cuff with a well thought strategy that cna be tested and adjusted.
This is freaking brilliant. If I was asked a question like that and hadn't prepared for it, I would be like say what?
FYI this "start up" is 17 years old, and smaller than when I joined 3 years ago (I have since left). Don't ignore the red flags and take the negative reviews on Glassdoor seriously.
