The loss of a life is devastating no matter what the circumstances are which lead to the taking of ones life.

Just venting here... teacher of the month should be picked based on good quality teaching... it because “he stays late and comes to work with a smile” bullshit!

This was recently posted in a thread I was commenting on. “It frustrates me to read people’s messages from states with very few cases to act like the virus is nothing to those of us whose states have a 100k.” Syntax aside, the meaning is clear—if you are from a small state, you should zip it.

I am from a small state. Our case count will never break us out of the bottom quartile (probably never get above the bottom 5.) Does that mean I am not allowed to have an opinion?

Any tips for helping students figure out how to use the technology? I’m a teacher, not an IT expert but at least half of the emails I’m getting are tech based. I can’t help them!
