Hi all,
I have two campus EY Deloitte on the table from Deloitte Tax (BTS), and EY Tax (DSG). Both are located in the SF Bay Area. Deloitte is paying 2k higher base and a 2k higher bonus.
I have to make my decision by the end of next week, so I’d appreciate some input and opinions on which offer I should take.

I was just offered a CUNY role. The title is Higher Education Assistant. According to Glassdoor, the average annual pay for that role is $83,418. However, I was offered $62,500. I requested for the minimum annual salary to be 75k. Does anyone have experience navigating the CUNY system and their pay?

The work culture in every project is as: 1)lead-who is in long time from TCS doesn't know anything except asking about project status.
2)senior developer:Hired from outside at a decent salary as per market standard who is responsible for delivering every task, including lead and junior developer.
3)Junior developer: freshers who doesn't now anything, senior developer have to tell them how to do.
So all the pressure is on senior developer...
Now people who are joining in TCS at higher packages thinking about job security and wlb can get a fair idea how things works....
Explained very well. The author is talking about junior folks not aware of debug.I have seen so called leads in TCS do not know how to debug programs.
Yes this shit happens in tcs
I am leading a project as a project lead and there is a girl in my team with 5 yrs experience. She knows nothing doesn’t do any work and takes leaves all the time stating health issues when any work is assigned to her. I am always doing her work and working overtime and she does nth
Client escalated on her to me and tcs management many times n she complained to management that I dnt help her dnt spoon feed her dts y she knows nth which is a lie and a victim card game played by her. Management trusted her and warned me.So this is the result of doing evrythg for a project streamlining it doing her work n getting this
Hence I got a better offer from a good product based organisation and now serving NP
Hence hell with TCS and this organisation won’t grow as long as below avg skillsets people are here
but management trusted me but ladies will not do much work even if we spoon feed

See actually mentally of TCS leadership is that freshers can do any project with trainings , that’s why they hire freshers in bulk. Now the middle management needs to use them if you can’t then you’re failed. I’d suggest pick those freshers who has little bit technical skills.

That’s the mentality of most big serviced based companies.
I am working as Project Lead in TCS for an IT project. It's true, freshers are more valuable to them as compared to experienced now. They want the lead to manage and deliver the result by himself if freshers are not working or willing to work. The quality and communication is so pathetic that sometimes I wonder how they got selected at first place.
All they say is due to the scarcity of resources we have to manage with these and can't remove them from the project. Such response has led the fresher to motivate not to learn new things and made them comfortable with the job by saying "I'm a fresher with no experience, I don't know how to do it" and let the lead take the bullet, pressure and extra-work with no motivation.
They are comfortable for an experienced performer to leave the organisation but not ok to give feedback to freshers to take their job seriously.
What to do if tech lead left and all the work is on a 3YOE stuck with freshers?
