If you believed your hated candidate literally stole the election, what would you do? Say “oh well, we’ll get them in the midterms?” Or would you do something more extreme?

I recently took a job in a startup for a bigger paycheck and to shift to aproduct based company. I left my previous company where i got along great with my boss but the work was too much and always too busy. At the new company i learnt they let go of the product owner i was supposed to work under & this put me in a bad position as i clearly did not have enough experience to handle senior position & i was let go on friday after two months since i was not good enough to fill both roles. :(

I ate one biscuit out of a big packet that belonged to my roommate and he said things like “it’s so tough to get these biscuits” etc. The thing is that I would have never said that to him. About 3 months ago I moved to a new team within my company. The new role came with a higher pay structure and a senior title. My company is currently giving out performance and salary evaluations for next year, and although I had a great evaluation, I received no salary adjustment because I was just “promoted”. While I’m happy with my new team, I can’t get over the fact that I’m not receiving any sort of salary adjustment. It just feels like I’m getting ripped off. Thoughts?
