Are you looking for candidates for a firm or you’re looking for a firm? Are you looking for someone to say “good job, you are making 30% more with less hours?” What are you looking for to change your mind about?

I was always told public accounting was a better career move , you had the opportunity to learn more , work with more professionals I just haven’t found that to be true I’m just starting a discussion if PA is still a solid career choice for business people

Are you hiring? (Serious - I'm over the endless filings and provisions.)

The senior and SM on my project (both guys) have worked together before, and seem to be very close. The SM started involving the senior in meetings that I wasn’t even aware about to divide and conquer. I am a newly promoted Manager, and have tried not to make a big deal about it. The client asked for an extension, but the SM doesn’t want to include me to keep costs low. I’ve provided feedback to the senior on deliverables, and often times he responds “let’s ask SM”. Interviewed for a senior technical position at a startup (about 50 employees). During the interview the CEO spent about 20 minutes answering my questions. There was no discussion about my technical skills or experience. They emailed that they are working on an offer. Is the interview process a redflag? The only technical screening that happened was the HR lead's 10 minute phone call.

I am a beginner DA user and trying to gain experience. I am trying to do a project on ESG for fun, and having some difficulty coming up with a hypothesis. Want to pick your brains and see if I can get started. I have data about CO2 emisiones, electricity usage, air quality, and that’s pretty much it. Using alteryx and powerbi (to visualize results) as I don’t have any other programs. Thanks so much!

I started at a litigation firm around 6 months ago. I took a pay cut for the position under the direction that the billable hours would be much less at this firm. As it has turned out this is not the case and if anything my hours have increased. I plan on sticking it out six more months to total a year before I move on. Is one year enough time in a position to make a move?

What are some other nice arts culture hobbies inspired by India?

I accepted a job from a place my friend works. She got me in and I'd be dropping a title level but making the same $ as my previous role. I accept and 1 day later my #1 on the list came through. better title, pay and benefits. The first company is stoked to have me and everyone is nice. I'm sure on the culture. I reached out to company 2 the week before I accepted this offer and they weren't ready, but now they are. They seem great, but so does everyone when you meet them. What do I do?

Currently a teacher but looking for a career move. What are jobs that a teacher can move to without having to go back to school? Did anyone else start a career in PA later in life? I went back to school for a post bacc and started this year as an A1. Most of the time I’ve felt fine, but there are moments where I just feel so much older than my colleagues. I’d love to hear from others. Thanks!

Ever had an attorney randomly pull food that they somehow squished in their shoe during long court days. One day, it was taking forever in federal court due to the COVID backlog. An attorney was sitting at a table across from where I was sitting. Kept noticing him reaching down like he was scratching his foot then would bring his hand to his mouth. Very strange. Court concluded and I saw him by his car taking off his shoe and pulling a squished baggy with half a sandwich out of it.

Interviewed for Deloitte Tech Strategy SC and got a verbal offer for Consultant instead. I negotiated the offer to 120K salary and 10K signing bonus. I’m a boomerang with 4 years ERP consulting but this past year I’ve been doing DEI Consulting. Spoke with former colleagues who rejoined Deloitte and got much higher offers for SC. How do I go back to the recruiter to negotiate further? I suggested that I’d probably sign but needed time to think. Now I’d like to go back and request 140k salary.
