I’m starting to find them rude!

Seems like since they are so "easy" everyone wants to meet!

I am more and more scheduling nothing pre 10 am and nothing at all on mondays. A perk of time put in.

I did today too notwithstanding my preference. Sometimes it’s unavoidable but a goal to shoot for!

I know everyone says the best thing for your WLB is to completely remove yourself from work once the day is over, but I’m confused as to how people actually manage to do that. It’s a force of habit for me to refresh my inbox and slack even if I have notifications turned off. If I’m in the middle of working on a big project, it’s hard to just stop thinking about it.

I was recently offered a Zoom interview. The school had 10 interview slots for me to choose from. Three were one day this week and the rest are next week. I chose the first time slot available. Should I have waited until one of the last slots so I was fresher on their mind when choosing a candidate? I am just sitting here stressing out until I here something. Also, do interviewers still appreciate a hand written thank you for the interview?

I just have to post this. I am looking for work. I have a million resumes out there. Need to work from home, so ..some kind of customer service Tier 2 tech support type position. I just had an interview and an OFFER!! $35.00 an hour for DATA ENTRY!! They give you a Macbook Pro and an HP printer to use. They perform the interview on Zoom but in text form.

ummmm...my Spidey Senses were tingling. Then they ask if you want to be paid by direct deposit...and what bank(s) you use. UGH.

Looking for an experienced recruiter (4+ years) to join our small but mighty team! We’re entirely remote (within US time zones- current team is in San Francisco, Boston, NY and Seattle) but meet at least quarterly.

VERY Competitive pay, collaborative culture (huge plus if you have a dog who likes to join on Zoom). Candidate will ideally come with experience recruiting for SaaS companies.

Second year at lit boutique. Being asked to draft a lot of briefs from scratch. Work product is great but I take way too long. Not necessarily procrastinating. I just struggle to get a flow state. I rewrite the same sentences over and over. Constantly restructure outline. Always stop to check westlaw. I want to just power through a first draft and add cites/revise prose later. But can’t figure out. Flow state only comes when I’m backed against a wall. Currently on medication. Any other tips?
