Hi everyone. Wanted to get your thoughts on this situation. I was in an extremely toxic relationship with a narcissist for over 10 years. The trauma and abuse resulted in responsive abuse meaning I would turn into a person I was not proud of. I could “justify” some of my actions because I was in survival mode at the time. Anyone has experience negotiating a medical bill with MGH. I got some blood work done and was sent a bill of 1800. The bill was 2700 but negotiated rate with my insurance is 1800. I got the exact same blood work done in NC 2 years back and it cost me <200. My insurance said i should have gone to labcorp. I am new to Boston and didn't know this. MGH says prices are higher as we are a teaching hospital. It's just open loot and does not make sense. Anyone dealt with a similar situation.

Have been TTC for 6 months (with no luck) and just found out I have both Addison’s Disease and Hashimoto’s. I had never heard of either… How do they affect fertility? Can they be treated to enable natural conception?

I had a missed miscarriage in January and opted for the D&C after the medication didn’t work.
