I am the Finance Director for a healthcare/social services non-profit (my boss is the CEO); roughly $11 million in revenue. I was in public accounting for over 10 years but am not a CPA, I’m considering going for my MHA, I want to stay in this field but feel I need some additional credentials to advance.
Thoughts?

I work at a non profit and my boss is the CFO/COO. We have half the revenue you do. Your CEO would be smart to promote you upon completion of your degree!

My fingers are crossed for you! Call me if you need a revenue manager! Lol. Good luck.

I think MHA would serve you well and you should consult someone who has had a similar career path like you.

Hi all! To qualify for an L1A visa, do you have to be a senior manager / executive level or does it work as long as you’re a manager? I just moved out of the US because the H1b lottery didn’t work out for me, and I’m thinking rather than spending 1 or 2 years in my home country and go back as a senior, I’d much rather work here a bit longer, get that manager title, wait a year, and then go back as I think that would be the fastest route to green card..? Any thoughts/advice? I’m from 🇰🇷 :) TYI!!

How do I get a job as a Mechanical Engineer if I dont have experience?

I couldn’t get an internship while in school. I have a BS in ME and projects from school under my belt. I’ve also passed the FE exam. I’ve been mostly just doing CAD for a company for the last year by creating minimally dimensioned drawings and moving parts around in assemblies. I want to evolve in my career and be doing more. I worked so hard to earn my degree and I feel like I’m not even using it. But who will hire me?

Capgemini I joined sometime back at D1 level , I do technical work most of time like coding, dev, testing etc.
I have worked a lot in my 14 years and still have required skills needed for the work. I don't have energy to slog any further. Moreover I get anxiety when I see junior level people doing same work as me and earning more or same.
I feel cannot sit longer hrs due to back issues and other health issues and family commitments.

Can I change to management side without risking my job .

Curious to hear how other SC commission structures are. Currently at my company we are allowed 1% of every large deal over $500,000, but are capped at a certain amount (cannot make more than $15,000 additional every year). This feels particularly frustrating as I’m working on several million $ deals, but could potentially see only 0.25% of the money I’ve brought in for my business. This is on top of our normal base variable if the company hits their numbers. What are others like?
