I am the senior underwriting for a real estate company. I am negotiating my bonus structure with my employer. It is going to be based on the size of deal we close with an option to roll it/a portion of it into the deal. What is a normal % to ask for? The typical deal size is $80m-$100m. It seems like they want to do it in tranches, meaning up to x I’ll get a smaller percentage, up to y I’ll get a larger %, etc. I’ve never had a deal based bonus structure, so I’m totally lost here. Thanks!

10 open Leadership Supervisor positions.
Almost 30 applicants.

I said that "People come to me about process issues, and I worked with others to better that process for them and the team."
Interviewer feedback denying me the role was that because I did not say "People trust me and came to me about process issues. Which led me to collaborate with others that I have networked with in the past to find solutions." I did not get the job.

OMG! Why do recruiters go dark on you!? I had a great conversation with a hiring manager who said things like I can’t believe she (recruiter) found you, you are so polished, I want you to meet with the girl on my team -like I had it in the bag. The conversation with the girl on the team went well and told me how excited the hiring manager is and called her right away…. I email the recruiter to ask about next steps and nothing……

Our annual reviews are approaching & one of my direct reports has been with us for almost six years w/ little growth. My reco was to let him go & find a stronger, hungrier & more motivated designer at the same level. However, my boss instead wants us to promote him in hopes that will spark some motivation. I am not behind this decision & have voiced my multitude of concerns in promoting an employee who doesn't deserve it. HR is behind the decision! Thoughts on promoting an undeserving report?

Our team didn’t have a scope for the majority of my tenure, so I was practically doing E2E PM & process improvement for multiple teams. How likely would the company accept it?
