Spent 4+ years as CMO of startup company. It was an incredible learning experience but also a very difficult uphill battle trying to steer the owners and the company in the right direction. I’ve just exited the company as of 11/18. The owners expected to storm the marketplace and emerge as a number one brand at only 6 years old without putting in the work.Company had a very hard time understanding the concept of a unique value proposition. Hoping to find a new remote (full time) position ASAP

What is the vibe of Williamsburg nowadays?
Marcus is very solid, I set up a automatic weekly deposit just to set up an emergency fund. The interest rate is basically nothing at the moment so I wouldn’t consider it a HY savings account.
If you have American Express credit cards, the savings was super easy to set up and use.
Yeah I use Amex - direct deposit goes into my regular account, then transfer to Amex. Nice way to keep track of how much I'm saving after 401k contributions. Lately have gotten tired of near-zero interest rates so have transfered nearly everything in my Amex to my individual brokerage on Fidelity. Doing much better there trading individual stocks.
Ally and capital one 360 are the other two
I love Ally! Have been banking with them for yrs. they have 24/7 customer service, online chat and by phone, which is super easy to get support whenever you need it. Though, the interest rate has been decreasing lately due to the current economy.
Definitely do it - I have been doing it for years - switched my money around a couple of times - now I am with CIT - saw Amex had good rates but didnt want to switch again - I sweep money from regular bank to online account - the only downside is they float ur money so if u need it back fast u need to plan - they r all basically the same so go with the best rate - note they do reduce rates when they go down but are way better than regular banks.
I’ve used Amex HYSA for years now. Interest rates have always been competitive — maybe not the absolute highest at any given time, but never worth switching to another bank for an extra 0.05%. It’s easy to set up an account and the customer service is the best (as with anything Amex).

If you’re looking for a return on your money in a low interest rate environment I would suggest looking into bank bonuses like chase has for savings accounts.
