What’s the return to office/WFH plan at WSGR? Are they requiring a number of days in the office when they reopen?
Hello and Happy Friday! I’m looking to add a Contract Recruiter to my team of 7 for a $2B manufacturing company. Ideally, I’d love to find someone who has 3+ years recruiting for Engineers and/or IT roles but I’m also open to all experience. This position has the opportunity to go permanent in the future or has flexibility to remain as a contract role. Fully remote job. Typical req load between 16-20 salaried roles. $35/hr. Please message me if you are interested!
With all the WFH and video conferencing going on, I hear Wal-Matt has noticed an increase of tops but not bottoms
if I just don't show up at the client site, would I get fired immediately? Would I get severance?
Is it bad to ask for a letter of recommendation from a director that you worked personally with on one project a few years ago? I left the company that I worked with the director with. I’m not trying to go to a competitive MBA just a part time program.
Help! Applying to a job and one of the only real requirement is to show how I’m “adept at understanding client needs, and designing and implementing creative solutions”. My issue is I work in risk advisory and most of our client engagements don’t actually involve implementation. We usually present our findings and recommendations and move on. What’s the best way I can tackle this? I’m coming up blank and the deadline is soon.
Does anyone know if 72 is going remote?
I’m over the moon excited about an opportunity to work as a growth strategist at a startup. It’s client facing where I’d work as a strategy consultant for clients to grow their profits by using the startup’s product/business model. Before I accept the offer, I’m trying to think through reasonable contingencies for worst case scenario, and I’m wondering if I could jump to strategy consulting after this if it doesn’t work out for some reason. Thoughts or experiences with this?
I am a fully remote EA at KPMG feeling like I, and my team, are vastly underpaid despite having more responsibilities than traditional EA's. Salary was set for $60k but after yearly bonus this year went to $62k. Anyone else care to provide insight on other Big 4 fully remote EA salaries? KPMG EY PwC Deloitte
Any other PMs finding it way harder than you thought when EVERYBODY is working remote? Woof, what used to be a drive by chat if I didn’t look busy or wasn’t in a mtg is now a text/chat/email
All things equal - would you take 150 base and 300-400+ OTE to work remote for a Series C tech firm out of NYC? Or 120 base and 275 OTE to work for a Series B out of Scottsdale? Good problem to have - I know. I am from the south and have never worked in NYC, wondering if I’ll regret it even if the $$$ is better.
Any advice for a newly pregnant consultant (6weeks in)? Do people usually go for appointments and scans without telling anyone at work till the required time to give notice? Currently on a busy project so a bit worried going through first trimester without work’s support, already struggling with energy levels and nausea

My coworker/ friend and I put together @core.rona on ig to help everyone WFH (Work out From Home). It's FREE classes or free trials so they're accessible. Let's stay physically and mentally healthy together!
Nothing is more annoying than not just having to sell your client on something innovative but your own leadership
Hello! Anyone aware of openings for remote HR coordinator/generalist in the Greater Philadephia area PA?
I am expecting a promotion this year from C to SC. Should I wait to hear back on the news before I initiate my roll off from the current long term project that I've spent 1.5 years on? Dyingggggg
Is December full of account teams going out for long boozy client lunches, congratulating themselves on the work that the creatives have bust their guts and spent countless overtime hours creating - or is this just my agency? I don’t expect a thanks, it’s my job, but this is just a bit of a slap in the face.
My application did not get picked for H1B. How was your experience for this year lottery?
Slalom's maternity and paternity leave are well below industry average. I've heard rumors that this is slated to change but I haven't seen any action. Anyone have better Intel than nothing and rumors?
Hey folks, We have openings at Thoughtworks. Please find the position details in the attachment. If interested please DM me or email me at email@example.com. Note - please ignore / in the email.

Laid off a few weeks ago from AFS. Is anyone willing to refer me to a position at Deloitte GPS, Guidehouse, or Booz? Experience at AFS mainly consisted of Fed contract pricing, change management work, and digital transformation strategy.
What is the average promotion cycle in KPMG audit in the US for experienced M (recruited from outside to the US) to SM?
I am trying to negotiate an internal base increase. Context is that I am at a FinTech following a key strategic and successful M&A in which I was the sole program manager. For reference I have 3 years of experience and have been offered a 10% base increase as a part of my promotion (current salary is 120k). I feel this is quite low given the market but would really appreciate any input
Advice for attacking the data room and putting together my first sell-side disclosure schedules? (Baby M&A att’y 2 months in). I have an associate mentor who encourages me to flag items I don’t understand and will walk through them with me, but at this point, the only thing I understand is that I don’t even know what I don’t know and what I do know that I don’t know is basically everything.
Dear all , Microsoft project planner / scheduler is needed for Kyndryl . The shift timings will be US / Canada . Ideal candidate should have 2_3 years of work experience on Microsoft Project, advanced excel . Send cv on Sanjeev.firstname.lastname@example.org.
I got an offer from a PE ops team I’m content with. Should I still negotiate? Does this mean there is still more room to raise the offer given this is their first offer?
Do you have small talks with your manager and directs? Feel like an as*hole for not liking it. My boss likes to start our 1 on 1s with topics around family, trip plans, hobbies, and other small talks. I don’t care how his weekend was. Or his baby. And personally I don’t like sharing much about my family or personal life so the small talks thing is very annoying to me. He’s super nice and I like him a lot but I just don’t feel like we should try hard to get to know each other via small talks.
Does it make sense strategically to lateral from T2 to MBB in the next few months (assuming late summer start) if I want to do 2022 on-cycle? Will funds care that I’d only have a few months of experience at MBB / would I be poorly perceived for wanting to leave MBB after a year?
Question regarding CRT: if my review is the week of May11, when will I find out if I'm laid off on not?
Have an interview with Salesforce (Acumen Solutions) for a Business Analyst position. Currently in industry. Previous experience was consulting. What to expect in terms of WLB and how similar is it to consulting?
Apparently more than a few of my firm's associates moved to other states during COVID and are now quitting because we are coming back to the office. The wierd thing is that my office is quickly replacing those associates with other associates that moved here (a large secondary market) during COVID and refuse to go back to their (mostly NYC-based) firms. Is this churn happening at other firms too?
I need to help. My partner and I have been quarantining together. While I have a normal consulting job, my partner is a semi-retired ex-CEO. I’m finding myself constantly booted from the office and relegated to a corner of the bedroom for Zoom client calls. At first I thought it was for consulting work which my partner still does, however, today I found out it has been for things like typing classes, Zoom AA meetings, and showing an aspiring actress our home office set-up (cont.)
What are some “fair” news sources? I’m sick of both extreme sides. It’s overwhelming trying to figure out what’s accurate anymore.
