I am within my first year of salaried pay and am looking for ways to begin investing. Any advice? For context, I only have money in the bank and as much as is allowed for 401k contributions - nothing else so far.

I would use a Roth IRA and an HSA, if you have a qualified insurance plan.

HSA is a health savings account. You can only use it if you have a high deductible health plan. Even if your employer does not provide one, you could open your own at someplace fidelity if you have qualified health insurance

My creative marketing agency, Codeword, is hiring account people! Senior Account Managers, an Account Director, and Account Managers. We work with tech clients like Google, Linktree, Qualcomm, and others. The agency has about 80 employees, but is owned by a much bigger parent company so the benefits are great! Most of the roles are based in NYC but we also have offices in San Francisco and Salt Lake City.

Message me if you have any questions and I can possibly refer you!

What are you doing for financial security long term?

A lot of post about working in tech seem to focus on two things: making six figures and (unlimited) PTO policies. These things are great but with the recent wave layoffs and uncertainties about what retirement is going to look like moving forward what is something that you’re doing with that tech paycheck now that may not have an immediate benefit but is focused on planning for the future?

Hey ATL fish, is there a negative connotation to Chamblee vs Brookhaven. From a home buy perspective, I am seeing better deals, newer homes in Chamblee. Both are ITP. But I get the sense that Chamblee has a "working class" element to it, especially with respect to Buford Hwy corridor. Any thoughts?

I'm currently working as Cloud support Analyst since 2.11 yrs, focused on Azure AD Connect, cloud provisioning sync and Azure AD. I am looking for a job change but not able to get anything.
Could someone guide if it is a better idea to dive deep into Azure Architecture or is there a chance to switch the profile to Business Analytics/Data Analytics without much experience in this field.

I invest into 2 ETFs (FID6000 and Mackenzie Growth Series A) and have about $29k. What should I do outside of attacking the debt and invest with that amount? Damn it character limit reached…
