I am wondering what’s up with me and sleep. I feel like no matter how much I sleep. I just always feel tired. Maybe I’m not getting enough sleep on a regular basis? Maybe I’m not getting good quality sleep at night to make me feel rested? Maybe I need a strict sleep routine? How can I figure out my issue?

You should increase your base line amount of time in bed, like 9-10 hours a day is great

It might be more about what you are doing when you are awake. I found switching to a lower carb diet improved my sleep quality. Iron levels are another good one to check and finally sleep apnea- you can get a sleep test done to help figure out where the issues lie.

Do you go to bed and get out of bed at a consistent time?

Would recommend having your iron checked.

I’m a 9th year in Big Law and have been struggling to get much work done the last 1.5 months. Mentioned this to my doctor at my recent visit, and she offered to increase my Vyvanse dosage, but I told her I wanted to see if it got better soon. I’m wondering now if it’s burnout. How do you stealthily ask for help? I see a lot of you mentioning that you ask your partners to give you deadline, have your assistant check in, etc. That sounds great, but I'm so nervous about looking like the odd one out or revealing my ADHD in the process. I have a student with autism. He is mostly behavioral and at a lower learning level so he has to be in a separate classroom. We try to let him play with the students at recess or join in class parties. He has a sibling that attends school as well. When we were waiting in car line a group of girls talked about how they feel so bad for the sibling because of my student. Thankfully, neither student or sibling heard. But how do I respond to that as an adult? Especially, if they do hear?

Started wearing a support belt per my doctors recommendation because I’ve been having pelvic pain. Wore it for the first time today and this baby will not stop moving. Now wondering if I’m choking my baby and maybe she doesn’t like this belt? I haven’t felt the pain I normally feel and no back pain this morning but now I’m feeling bad. I don’t want to have comfort if it’s causing discomfort on my baby. Anyone experienced this?

Has anyone ever felt so anxious and depressed they couldn’t sleep all night? Body tense and uncontrollable shaking? How does a person change their mindset to be more positive? I feel like I’m meant for my job, but blame all my life problems on it….having no energy, being single at the age of 30, etc. and it seems like a never ending loop. I look for new jobs, realize I have a good job then am ok for a bit then start it all over again. When I’m off of work I’m fine and realize I have it pretty good. Only real negative is I can’t vacation with my family in March due to my busy time.
