I am working as a Paid Search Coordinator (SEM) right now and am confused about switching to Media Planning and buying. I am still in the learning phase of the job but I feel like I could do a lot more better if there was a creative element in the job. Would it be a sane choice? Any tips or advice?

I am finding it very difficult to get a FEA job in Mumbai (moving out from Pune). Do you think not many FEA jobs are there in Mumbai? Should start developing myself for another role which will bag me a job?

Which one should I go for?

1. Oracle - 18.3 LPA fixed + probable bonus (I may or may not get)
2. Amadeus - 18 fixed + 1.5 variable.

Amadeus is also giving joining bonus of 75k. Amadeus is paying more, may give better hikes too, but I am finding it hard to let go off Oracle's brand name on my resume even if it's means around 2L less over an year. I am planning to work for atleast 3 years in my next company.

What would you have done in my place? Should I go for Oracle or Amadeus?

Anyone made a transition from consulting to startup? I am interested in doing end to end technical projects and therefore considering joining a series A startup. What factors should I consider when making this move (YOE < 2 years) - I might be able to get 10-15% increase in salary (which I might get at my current role by the end of year) but obviously the designation trajectory is not as well defined as it is in consulting. Hello All, Office Sup. for a major hospital, w/ 15 years experience. I have lots of experience in every position in the office, especially in training. I recently applied for an EPIC trainer position within the company and according to Glassdoor the average pay is about 23k more than what I currently make. I’m afraid of getting a lowball offer since 1. they obviously know my current salary and 2. I’d be new at this particular role, although I meet qualifications. Any advice if that’s the case?

I found out a soon to be 2nd year associate got a 10k raise making his salary 110k now, while I, the soon to be 3rd year associate got a 2k raise making my salary 107k. So now the 2nd year male associate is making more money than me. How do I bring this up to the partners?
