I went for 3 interviews with a company met with vp and was given package thinking I aced interview there was another candidate 😞 the other person for the job. The VP calls me to tell me I didn’t get position however he wants me to re apply in new year that something else will be open, and that he wanted to keep a copy of my resume what does this mean ? Should I apply again in new year or don’t bother ?

I am terrible at withholding salary information from recruiters. Yesterday a recruiter gave the line “I would hate for us to get to the end of the interview process only for it to turn out that we couldn’t give the salary you would need” so I panicked and threw out a number that was thirty percent higher than my current pay. He then told me the salary range which was way higher! Do you really just firmly repeat “I need to learn more about the team and benefits before I can assign a number?”

Hearing conflicting advice to apply R1 or R2. One admission consultant said with my avg stats (700, 3.3, Female) apply R1. Another said schools are too aggressive R1 to maintain stats, so apply R2.

I’m booked for 40hrs on an engagement. I was initially working and charging the 50-55hrs I was actually working until the SM started having meetings with me almost everyday about my hours and overcharging the estimated 40hrs especially since the firm has had this account for several years now. So, for the past couple weeks, I have been only working 40hrs but the SM is upset about that and said that they work 65+ hours per week 🙄 WWYD?
