Hey everyone. Hope you are having a good day. I have a little question. I am the type of auditor that love fieldwork. I heard from someone that big 4 now tend to switch to work from home mote. Is that true? Do you think it's better to try to get into mid size CPA firms or big 4 small and medium client segment/ industry in order to have the greatest chance to be on audits that require fieldwork?

As a client, what are Analytics teams using to monitor Paid Search day to day? Our agency uses SuperMetrics and Data Studio, which seems to deliver metrics at the campaign and ad group level well, but not the KW level. Thinking of Tableau or Power BI & blending Search with GA via an ETL (extract, transform and load) model, but the first has a steep learning curve it seems. Advice? Is it worth spending to automate this via tools like Looker, Adverity, Improvado, Datorama, Alight Analytics, etc.?

I worked as a technical PM for a medium-sized adtech company in NYC in charge of 2 technical teams, and the business intelligence team.

On Thursday I was informed by the lead PO and HR that leadership had decided that the project management office was no longer necessary for the company and all three of us, the director and the two technical PMs, were being let go. None of us were given any notice.

They offered me 2 weeks of severance pay and I negotiated it to 3.

As a new hire, what’s the better approach? Go around looking (begging) for billable hours or sit tight at my desk for 8 hours a day and study for the CPA exam?
