Currently on H1-B and got selected for Manager II, Program Management role at Amazon. Any amazon folks can help me understand what the package and WL are and career growth?
What's the best way to prepare a business case presentation? I've been invited to a final round interview for a medical device company as a process optimization consultant. They sent me a client case study. In the case there are pain points of the client, and some numbers to analyze their workflow and recommend them to use their medical devices for process improvement. I'm not sure how to stucture it. how would you approach it?
I’m a second year BTA up for promotion to C this year. What roles/positions should I apply for? Hoping for possible $100K-110 pay. Mostly do functional and PMO work with CS background
In a rapidly growing practice, and perhaps 2 years from (non-equity) “partnership”. I like my team and the work I do, but I’ve only ever been a consultant and am tempted to jump to industry to try it out. Interviewing for a Fortune 20 company and applying to others. Maybe FAANG. Let’s say I’m 60% driven by comp, 40% driven by impact. Am I crazy for looking to leave? Should I just continue to ride this one-way train?
Can someone who has done the research let me know what supplements are worth it (if any)? My general understanding is vitamins are not proven to change basically anything unless you have a real deficiency and are best obtained through diet. Is there anything else that has proven benefits? Thinking of upping my morning smoothie game, would love tips.
My friend has an interview for a senior position at deloitte next week, could anyone please share how to prepare for it?
Currently in the cloud space. When is a good time to exit consulting? Goal is to become a tech lead in a mid to large size corporate. Thanks.
Senior Manager at Accenture solutions atci or Senior manager at PWC ? Any insights ? Salary slightly higher in PWC by 2lakhs on fixed …
I’ve always gotten the advice that when you want to switch jobs you should take interviews from places you’re not actually interested in, so you can understand your value in the market and have better negotiating power. I’m doing that rn - took a couple interviews to gauge my skills, my market value, and see what I need to work on for interviews that I actually care about. However, I feel really guilty about wasting their time and going all the way knowing I’ll just say no at the end. Wwyd?

We have a fixed PTO time plan (very generous) but leftover rates by now are enormous. It’s gonna be about 160 hours of unused PTO per employee in the end of the year, and we only rollover 80. We thought about rolling over everything, but then accruals get too high. Does anyone have creative ideas how we can roll over excessive hours and don’t make them wages at the same time...
Evaluating an offer from a series a startup - base is $160k and equity is about half of that or .15% of the company today. It’s a huge step down for me in total comp (~65k less than what I make today) but I think company has a good chance of success. How can I negotiate more equity?
What is IBM CIC (Client Innovation Center) ? Can anyone highlight what this Unit deals with? What type of projects are there from technology and career growth point of view?
Manager level, looking to exit soon. M&A experience predominantly. Any tips on where to look first (or “how” to look, LinkedIn kinda sucks) that actually compensates around $180-200k? Any/all ideas welcome.
Any thoughts on negotiating more vacation time with a new company? Manager leaving Accenture for a specialty firm in Public Sector. Two firms competing for me have offers on the table. The one I like told me they just don't negotiate vacation and everyone from the C-suite down gets three weeks. Losing two weeks a year of vacation sounds awful! Any thought on negotiating? I have a pretty strong position right now. I'm open to options. Though they kind of already nixed the idea of unpaid PTO.
Anyone done the BCG Gamma data science take home project? I was wondering roughly what type of modeling I should be brushing up on. Regression? Classification? Optimization? Time series? Other?
