Also my experience is relatively less. I have one year of experience but I'm confident in my skills. What do you suggest? Did well in first and second interview. Third interview was behavioral questions which I had a gut feeling I didn’t do well on. Niche consultant position. Was executive in last role. Have sent enthusiastic thank you emails to all three. Would sending a more in-depth addendum email to 2nd and 3rd interviewers to better answer missed questions be over eager?

I got laid off from my job as an account manager at a SAAS company. I’ve been applying non stop for similar jobs in saas for the past 2 months and I’m not having a lot of success with interviews. Either not getting them or not getting an offer because they go with a candidate with more experience (I have 1 year experience). Wanted to share a bit of encouragement for all those feeling undervalued and underpaid.
2 yr snapshot:
2020: AE making less than $50k a year no comm.
June 2021: Accepted Sales Manager position at another company with salary of $75k plus comm.
Sept 2022: Just accepted Sales Director position at another company with salary of $150k plus comm.
I'm not suggesting job hopping is the answer, but in my experience strategic leaps have consistently awarded me more pay and higher titles. Thoughts?

We all had the same responsibilities, I consider I even had a heavier workload (talking in past tense since I very recently made an internal move).

Do you disclose when you were promoted on your CV? I’ve been as a assistant manager for over a year but have just been ‘promoted’ to manager. Have been doing the same role for the entire time… only thing that changed was my official role title. Do I need to split this out into two roles on my CV?

Would ideally like to keep as one optically to avoid having to ‘spend more time in the manger role’… as I’ve been doing that role for a year now and keen to move on!
