Capgemini offered 15 LPA fixed for B2 grade during HR round then on offer letter gave a C1 Grade with 15 LPA Fixed plus Variable. That brought out the fixed to 13.5 LPA. I straightway asked the recruiter to revise as per our discussion and didi not accept the offer letter. HR told she will try and revise. Right way to go? Capgemini Tata Consultancy Accenture
If Tech Mahindra HR is telling that after joining he will take care of onsite. It is US project. So in U4 Tech Lead position is it possible to send someone US onsite in L1/business Visa?? Shall I consider the onsite opportunity what HR is telling?? Or I should consider other companies to join. Please suggest I am really confused. Accenture Tech Mahindra Tata Consultancy Infosys Wipro

What are your opinions about potential big4 layoffs in m&a tax? Campus hiring starting next year so I don’t have a good idea of what people are thinking at the firm. I know m&a is typically not where you want to be in a recession so I’m curious about job security starting next year. Any insights/opinions would be appreciated. EY PwC Deloitte KPMG
That they don’t reply to thank you notes. Most people don’t

Ok then, wasn’t sure how to interpret since I have gotten responses in the past.
That they're lifeless individuals and you probably shouldn't work there anyway.
I was head hunted by an investment bank recruiter. I went through all the calls, emails, interviews over a span of 2 months.
I had to wait 1 week to hear back and the recruiter sent a 1 sentence generic denial email to me.
Some people just don't get it.
Takeaway is that 4 rounds of interviews is a red flag

RSM 1 I do agree. I legit wanted to not move forward but then decided what’s 1 more interview to see what that offer even looked like
5 interviews for a senior in todays market??? You need to run, not walk, away from that firm. If they couldn’t figure it out after at best two interviews, it’s not a place you want to be.

How should I word the fact that I want to decline all together? I’m so turned off
They’re probably waiting to see if you’re joining the firm or not. When I interviewed EY as an experienced hire, the SM and partner who interviewed me did not respond to my thank you emails either, up until an offer was extended and I accepted.

Second what TS1 said about false hope regardless of whichever way your interview process went. But at the same time, don’t think it’s a good excuse.
I have never sent thank you notes… and realized afterwards it was a thing. Nobody cared. Now after many years of experience, my hiring decision won’t really be based on if you wrote me a cute email.
Did you want them to thank you for your thank you? What is there for them to respond to in a thank you email?

Acknowledgment would be nice

I usually get replies to my thank you notes but I wouldn’t worry too much about this
