I came over from a B4 to a smaller firm. I've been out on one of their bigger clients. Hours aren't as bad as B4. I'm amazed how the homegrown staff and seniors freak out when they hear the amt of hrs
For those of you who have been recently let go, here’s one they don’t want you to know. In most cases; if you worked in multiple cities you can claim unemployment benefits from each of those states. Same amount of paperwork when filing but it’s worthwhile 🥃
Wow. McKinsey, which has the biggest public sector presence of the MBB, really hasn't been doing too hot at all in the sector. Its presence is tiny and it's gotten even smaller. Meanwhile it's bungling whatever opportunities it's getting. https://www.propublica.org/article/how-mckinsey-is-making-100-million-and-counting-advising-on-the-governments-bumbling-coronavirus-response

For California HR folks: I know this is probably super obvious but I want to be sure I’m right… if Company policy states that hourly employees based in California earn 1 hour of PTO for every 40 Hours worked, and the accrued PTO is paid out upon termination, is this policy compliant under CA law?
