Follow up post to my last post…My husband was laid off from the company where I also work. I am feeling really isolated / depressed about working and moving forward. I’m also getting to a stage where I’m really sad that people haven’t reached out to either my husband or myself to send well wishes or provide support. Would love advice on work life balance. On an account that does a lot of events. We are social AOR. Unfortunately they always seem to plan something new every 3-4 weeks. Working insane hours and I don’t know how to make it stop. When I try to address it with my account manager, resourcing or boss, they’ll tell me to set boundaries but put me on the same volume of work with the same expectations or imply I’m overreacting. Would you take up an offer with a higher title and salary in a new city on a so so brand or stick out your “path to promotion” at your current agency? Was told they would push for my promo to happen in 5 months. Should i bring up this offer to current employer or would that burn bridges?

Don’t think I am ready to move but the title and salary is guaranteed so don’t want to lose out on a golden opportunity ya know?
