Totally agree I’m in the same boat. At about 270k now. Hoping to get to 1M by early 30s.

This is super basic stuff honestly. 35 year at $2M. It’s just basics

The couple profiled here have a blog called Millennial revolution. It’s pretty entertaining and has much more depth than the fluffy CNBC article

My husband and I are looking to buy my family’s house outside New York City from my mom (current owner). It was appraised for 1M but we believe the family connection and shared interest in keeping the house in the family will allow us to agree on a purchase price closer to 700K. Two questions:

1) What are the tax implications in New York for selling a house below fair market value? For my mom? For us? Other possible financial penalties to consider?

Why has real estate remained lucrative?
Mainly agents but also developers.

The barrier to entry is low, not even sure if graduating high school is needed. My old agent even said she did it bc she can make a lot money and not work that much. She drove a new Mercedes and sent her kids to private school, husband was also an agent.

So I’m curious why it didn’t get flooded and the profit margin dampened to a $/hr closer to other jobs with similarly easy entry?

Took my little dude to Target so he could buy a Xmas gift for his sibling. While browsing, he lost his $42 he’d been saving up. Same kid found a wallet packed with cash and credit cards at Disney a couple months back, and gave the wallet to the Disney employees —cuz it was the right thing to do. Today he learned that not everyone shares the same values and not to keep cash in a ziploc😞

Somewhat often when I’m talking, I use a wrong but similar word to what I meant to say. For example I might say horse instead of deer or say someone’s name wrong and not realize it. Hi all,

I am 1 year into the system and am currently working directly with the manager. I have been given a task which is way out of my wheelhouse and there is no supporting AC or C working with me on the request. Getting a manager on call to ask small doubts is a task and even after 2/3 sessions it seems like the ask is not very clear. I am reaching out to know if there is anything you can suggest that I do for this to be easier on me.

Hi everyone,

I am running into quite similar issues in almost all of the companies I have worked so far: Most of the senior engineers just exclude me in the important technical meetings whereas I am doing an important part (technical) of a project. They either think I am not knowledgeable enough for a particular task or just that I am good at doing some non-technical/manual task. I am the only female in the technical team and how do I address this issue & to whom? Thanks in advance!
