I bought a duplex built 1905 , they are well maintained , one unit that’s the 2nd floor is in excellent condition but the 1st floor looks old on top of it has a really awkward layout and squeaky old floor. I want to fix it and make it look modern with out spending a ton ( reasonable spending is fine) and tools or guidance on how to do this ?
