I bought a new iPad Mini in February and broke it after one month of use - went skiing without realizing it was in my ski backpack, took a tumble and a beer in my bag burst all over it. Didn’t discover the damage until days later.

The iPad itself is pretty much toast, it turns on but the water damage is visible on the screen. Don’t have apple care, what’s my best course of action? I’ve just assumed a total loss but curious if there are any options to consider. Have thought about repair shops

Well I don’t have a mini anymore, addition by subtraction I guess 👻

If you bought it with a credit card, see if it covers accidental damage to purchased items.

If you bought it with an Amex Platinum card you might be covered

Because I am an idiot - honestly I think I ordered it online and it auto populated my debit card info

Hi everyone!! This is exactly the group I've been looking for. I'll be starting my new (and first) consulting job at ZS Associates at the end of the month and I'm so nervous that I'll crash and burn. I'm very proud to be an ENFP, but the flaws that come along with it (distraction, procrastination, disorganization) seem like a recipe for disaster. I'm not sure if I should spend this next month trying to change my habits or if I should just embrace it. Anyway, what advice do you all have?

I recently learned from 3 different employees that left (voluntarily) they were making 98-105k. They were outside candidates and were all hired within the last year and for the same position, and same regional territory. I have worked for the company 3+ years and went from a core position, to large loss. I was given a 10k raise putting me around 78k. Yes.... some of these individuals have Lardge Losss experience but does that really make a 20-25k difference? Any advise!?

After 3 years of dealing with the worst firm I've ever had the displeasure of working for, I finally landed my dream gig at a small specialty firm. The people at the new firm are all SMEs featured in and contributors to the most notable business publications in the world, less than 100 employees, better benefits, unlimimted PTO, doubled my pay and landed a senior role.

Keep looking for what you want and deserve. I'm happy to be forging a better path away from what I've had to endure.

Hi, ladies. How long has it taken you to find a new job?

I’m currently on the hunt for a new job and I’m feeling really utterly defeated. Over the past year I’ve probably applied to at least 100 jobs and I’ve been on 8 different interviews all with no offer. I’m not sure if I’m doing anything wrong or if there is more being done behind the scenes that have nothing to do with me. Either way, I’m getting frustrated and my productivity in my current position is slacking as a result.
