I have Erie now but had State Farm for years. Ultimately there are so many factors. To insure about 60k worth of cars (current value), I pay about $1200 per year. But I also have homeowners insurance through Erie too and they give a big discount for that
Sometimes location drives up premiums so it may not be in your control. The vehicle also matters - make model and age = luxury, sports are higher. Not sure it applies to you but if you've held a US license for less than 5 years premiums can be higher. Could be worth trying other insurers - I always shop around every six months.

Costco had a great auto insurance plan for executive members - they gave me the best price after an at fault accident.
Prior to that, GEICO had the best price for me until I had my accident. East Coast- HCOL area.
Get a cheaper quote and then ask your current company to match or switch.

You can do it via the websites for those companies you see in media. I asked my friends who they use and found a broker who set us up with a great rate.
