Anyone else the last to be informed about ANYTHING at their site? I am only a second year SPED teacher and my eyes are already wide open to the fact that admin and Gen Ed teachers so often fail to inform me about important things regarding the grade levels I teach and other school events. Then I’m left scrambling to inform my students and parents of essential information, and I’m embarrassed! My aides also look at me like why don’t you know this? Aggravating.
*sigh* Will I ever find a company that cares about HR professional development as much as the employees’ we help? Getting sick of hearing about how development is so important to the company (often during orientation) but when I ask to attend a conference or get a certification, it’s crickets! I have more education/experience than most of the people we ‘serve.’
