How much referral bonus does different companies pay? Does it vary by the level that a candidate is applying for? If I am not mistaken, Strategy& does not pay any referral bonus. Curious what other firms are doing on this topic. McKinsey & Company Boston Consulting Group Bain & Company Oliver Wyman Strategy& Booz Allen Hamilton Deloitte Kearney EY-Parthenon

I’m currently in between jobs and was laid off a month ago. I have 8 years of experience in fintech and insurance. Does anyone know of any openings? Thank you for any help.
Should i consider joining Microsoft Global Deliver Center(MSGD) as Technical Consultant? Is that a good role? Is it a good company? Not much info is available on this. Anyone having knowledge please comment. Edit: I should specify that its not Microsoft India Development Center (MSIDC) where core product development is being done
Anyone here work as an attorney for Congress? Interested in what that work looks like, particularly in an investigative role.
I’m a young data scientist with around 4 years of experience, and am wondering if taking on a paid role as a data science boot camp teaching assistant would be a good resume add, contracted with a reputable private university (technically can’t list as an employee of the university since it’s a subcontractor)
I've recently moved to the US from India but now that everything is WFH I'm having a hard time making friends or connections with coworkers. I'm not sure what to do as I'm very lonely.

Well that was a shitty raise for a audit senior and the kind of responsibility for that role. #majorlowballed
People at Microsoft - if I’m being offered a role as an L61, worth negotiating up to a L62? Have heard it could be helpful in terms of growth at the company to come in at a lower level and get promoted sooner vs plateauing?
With the work from home arrangement going on for some time I’m curious what is the most original place someone moved to? Anyone moved to Wyoming or some island etc?
Anyone else getting hit with crazy requests lately that are beyond absurdity with scheduling or budget (even both)? In the same week I have been asked to do a remote docu shoot with real people for under 10k, an animated spot for tv in two weeks without a descent budget for the ask and a photo shoot for under 15k where the talent usage is in perpetuity and it’s only Wednesday!!!
Anyone here have any insights/background on KeepTruckin? A recruiter reached out and I'm interested in the role - wanted to see if anyone could provide details on the work culture
I need a side job that I can work evenings and/or weekends that can generate at least $1000 extra dollars a month. I was thinking real estate but I know nothing about it… then I thought bartending but again, I know nothing about it… I don’t want to spend more than 20 hours per week working this side job and if it is remote AND contract, that would be great. Any advice?
Leaving my glorious M role for an L7 nontechnical position at Amazon. For those looking to exit consulting, here are things that worked for me: 1. Be patient. I looked for over a year before finding this and dealt with tons of ghosting, rejections and discussions that were a waste of time. 2. Don't filter out locations. If the role looks like a good fit, apply. In my case this was a really niche job that is tough to match so we worked out a compromise where I won't need to relocate. (cont'd)
What’s the highest comp EY managers in Audits received this week? I know someone who got a 30% increase? Not sure if I want to believe that but happy for them nevertheless haha.
Need some tips, I’m interviewing at Edelman for a pharma/health general advertising role and all of my experience is from a smaller b2b tech agency solely doing paid advertising. I’m a bit nervous around interviewing for this role with experience that isn’t a perfect match, any advice?
Thoughts on Gartner? Specifically their marketing areas under strategy/ops. I saw some comments around layoffs/halting 401k matching from a few weeks back but curious about that department
What business practice at Deloitte is the equivalent of Harvard Extension School? Since those two entities are apples to apples.

Is anyone a 100% remote? I know it’s a great opp to be remote during the covid and flu season esp with a young baby (5 month old) but I can’t shake the feeling off that I’m missing HHs and just team events. Doesn’t help that I’m based out of a state where the majority of the team is not present.
Okay, so I’m a young high school ESL teacher (19 years old, already certified and graduated college two years early). I get slack all the time from older teachers that are jealous because they see good performance numbers from my students however in reality, I just love teaching and have been doing it since I was 9! How do you deal with jealousy from teachers always judging every little thing about you?
What is your target age for retiring from the Consulting Partner role and moving on to your next thing?
I plan on putting in an application for a Strategy& SA position. If anyone is interested in chatting for 15 minutes to see if it’s a good fit, it could be mutually beneficial.
Hi Fishes ! Need urgent help ! 2 days left for LWD . EY Parthenon TSE consultant salary expectations? Expecting an offer soon. Is it dependent on office location (HCOL v LCOL)?
Is there such a thing as SC4 and SC5 in consulting? Are you automatically promoted to manager after SC3 in big 4 consulting?
New Amex Plat card designs are actually kinda cool. Available for selection for new and existing cardmembers starting 1/20/22 - no add’l charge or benefits.
In the middle of interviewing for a role externally right now. Would other firms generally expect you to start after we get bonus? Even if I get the offer in mid-Nov…this means I won’t be able to start at a new firm until mid-Feb (given 30 day garden leave after bonus and resignation). Is that a usual/ok timeline?
I had multiple mediations recently. I do management side employment law. Overall I’m walking away feeling like what the heck are we paying the mediators for? I’m tired of the mediators saying they don’t want to hear about the merits of the case. The merits are DIRECTLY tied to the amount of settlement authority I have. I feel like our clients are getting worked way more than the plaintiffs side. Also plaintiffs have followed up every single settlement with “can we get the funds before holiday?”
Any McKinsey HR profesional in here? I am interested in a few roles recently posted in the career website and would like to learn more about the company’s culture and your experience
