I have a 5 day weekend for thanksgiving. I don’t have any plans. BF of 7 months is unable to spend even part of it with me due to family obligations. Is this a red flag?

My friend recently had a big fight with her boyfriend and it's not solved yet - she's worried. I just got engaged on Friday. Should I tell her now or is it bad timing? I don't post anything on social media or told anyone except family yet, so she won't find out from others.

Back in 2017 I quit an absolutely awful company that treated me (and all other lower level employees) like trash. We were constantly being reprimanded about not doing our job well enough, but then would also get yelled at for overtime when we tried to do our job well.
Every year since, I’ve written a 1 star review on Glassdoor. Currently their overall score is a 2.3 with a 0% approval of CEO. 15% recommend to a friend. (((Continued in comments)))

I found myself in the lumber section of home depot on a Saturday afternoon this weekend, when it happened…I started whistling to myself out loud while looking at the selection of 2x4s. I'm thinking about accepting both and keeping job 1 as well - doing the bare minimum and seeing how it goes. All roles are full remote.

My fiancé wants to invite his ex girlfriend of 9 years cousin and wife to our wedding am I over reacting that I think it’s really weird and I DO not want them to come.

Somewhat often when I’m talking, I use a wrong but similar word to what I meant to say. For example I might say horse instead of deer or say someone’s name wrong and not realize it. My family and friends are used to it but I’m nervous this might show up in a professional context and I might not even realize 🫣
