How do I dress like a waffle and not a pancake?
Is this a good style to wear to work? I am thinking for the more important meetings where I would normally dress up extra. I really like the style, but not sure if it’s a good work style or not: https://www.tahariasl.com/products/wrap-crop-pearl-trim-jacket-dress-set-tsma9wn011-black?nosto=categorypage-nosto-2-fallback-nosto-1

I switched to cardigans
I gave up on typical blazer materials and look for the ones with more stretch and cotton. Just found this one at Nordstrom Rack that you can dress up. Brand is 14th & Union
Mmlafleur jardigan - they have a long and a short. Looks polished, never wrinkles and so comfy.
Sounds like you need a bigger size. When you try it on you should be able to hug yourself, and lift your arms above your head comfortably
I really want one of those soft/stretchy ones, but I don’t know how to describe or look up the fabric... does anyone have a recommendation?
I push the sleeves up to my elbows... but even then, I rip it off any chance I get
Mm lafleur!! I’ve also heard ministry of supply butt haven’t tried that yet
Second the jardigan. I️ don’t own it, but my colleague does and she always looks great in it.
Try a blazer made of ponte. I have a Cabi one that I love!
Aritzia Chevalier jacket. Sooo comfy
It’s not cheap but MM Lafleur has a "jardigan”, jacket + cardigan, that is amazing, I always get compliments on it
I also find a bunch at places like Marshalls/TJ maxx. Sometimes the cotton material ones are hidden in the juniors department though
SIZE they are comfortable if you’ve got the right sizing. Usually means it’s a little larger (shoulders, armpit cut, arms, end up bigger around middle) so that you’ve got room to be comfy in it
Jersey knit? BCBG also makes more comfortable blazers imo
I surprisingly have two from h&m that are my favorite. Very comfortable and stylish.
The brand kensie has some stretcher ones that hold their shape
I got this like almost caj unstructured cardigan from Topshop that I’m absolutely in love with. Material is not cheap or cotton looking so it looks good but it’s super comfy, I wear it when I’m at home office.
Size - I tend to get one size larger than my normal tops, plus I have long arms so I only buy 3/4 lengths sleeves or shorter (otherwise everything looks too small in the arm). I actually find it can be slimming - hides back and side bulges. I wearing one every day at work I feel “undressed” without one.
Fabric - don’t like the suit kind of stiff material but gone for tweed. Esp in winter a great option and easy to find
Try St John. Pricey but stretchy and super comfy. Or Eileen Fisher. Not as structured but can pass as business
