Exit opportunities for litigation associates?
Hi Applied to PwC Strategy& for a consultant role and havent heard back from a recuiter however, I received an email for a survey asking what am I looking for in the company in terms of their culture, values etc and what other companies I have applied to. Is this a typical process? Not sure if thats the step 1 in the process or I have been rejected. Any feed back is appreciated. I am graduating from Ohio State with an MBA and have 8 years of experience in corporate accounting and finance.

Naa, you’ll be fine. Lots of successful people don’t have an MBA.
I’m srsly pushing myself and requires a lot of mental effort to bring myself to study for gmat. It’s a serious pain in the ass but I want to go for mba so it is what it is 🤢
I’m in the same boat as you man. I really don’t think an MBA gets us much.
You just don't have a strong enough 'Why' yet to justify the effort.
Is your dream job on the other side of an MBA? Is your financial situation going to be significantly better in the long run? Can you achieve these things without an MBA?
All very personal questions that you should reflect on before embarking on the journey.
Personally, want to go into Tech and investing long-term and there are far more companies these days willing to hire at Manager or above positions without an MBA. Also have desires to work in Asia where the MBA is much less sought after. So I've decided to forego it and work towards these goals instead.
in india majority of engineering graduates who are not placed or get frustated with IT or any other job do MBA.

I don’t blame you. I took 10 days off from work, did nothing but study and got a good score. I could not have continued after that 10 days because it’s super boring. Even one practice test takes hours to complete. MBA paid off for me but you are already at LEK. If you are doing well, I don’t see why you need an MBA.
I did the GMAT with zero prep and got 760. Maybe you should just book it and see what happens.
That said I feel MBAs are becoming less valuable and as a result I chose not to apply.
Maybe that is why. If I have to take it now, idk if I can get 780 lol
One year left of my GMAT score. Been 4 years since I took it

There's a lot of good schools in Europe that don't require a GMAT for master's. The GMAT is a useless exam anyways.
Australia accepts without any exam.... basic English test only
You don’t hate your current situation enough yet to want to make the change. I wasn’t taking it seriously and couldn’t score more than 520 on practice tests. Then I realized I have no network to make the career changes I want. I hated the fact that the only option was to rot and die in my current role. I spent 2 hours per weekday and 4 hours each day on the weekend. 8 months later, I got a 690 and will go to a M7 PT program
I’m studying for the GMAT here too! It’s definitely achievable

You can always get an MBA later.

5yoe is an average. Having more is fine. There's also the option of executive and part time MBA programs.
Deep down you know you need it.
Lol no wtf - you categorically do not NEED an MBA. I’d argue it’s a complete waste of time unless you’ve already got off on the wrong foot
Tbh if you’re already at MBB/T2 then you really do not need an MBA unless they make you go get one
