Stamina is the first to go. Losing strength takes longer. Good news is that stamina comes back relatively quick. I’d say two weeks of being consistent you’ll be back where you were two months ago, excluding any other variables
Find something you enjoy so it doesn’t feel like a chore. Even if you don’t like exercise, but maybe you like flowers or listening to birds, getting outside and walking is a great way to experience the world without feeling like exercising.
This is me right now, but it’s okay! Do a little today, and throughout the week and then by week 2 you’ll be amazed how far you’ve come. Just start and stay consistent!
Start small! Gradually increase. Even if it takes 10 minute walks, then 15, then 20, etc.
Start small, find something that you enjoy doing! Or At least can tolerate for 10m. Get a gym pass at a cheap commercial gym, just having the pass and using it once a month is better than not using it. Consider asking friends/family to join you to make it a routine, or you could invest in a personal/online trainer. Invest in yourself and your body will pay you back in the long run.

Go for a walk! Or maybe just put on workout clothes/shoes and see if you can motivate yourself to get to the gym or outside. Once you're there, it gets easier

Do you think hiring a trainer to get you started will help?
