During salary negotiations with Infosys. HR : what is the offer you holding? Me : 40 HR : We would not be able to match that. Me : yes I understand, but you need to compensate me on some other parameters, maybe onsite opportunity. You cannot say since this is Infosys, take 30 or leave. HR : no, the max we can offer is 26. 😸😸

Disagree with A5. Most exp hired are compensated higher than ppl who grow up in the firm. That said, CD&O is different. Not that familiar with it but I agree with the SM above - it will be hard to switch to C&M.
Ask to be switched to C&M. Don't tell them I said that.
That's why. If you were C&M it'd be different. I know lots people who are being fucked by CD&O
Yeah fuck that, bounce
Senior manager here. You will have a tough go transferring to C&M.
Wow. I don't know what CD&O is but that is an insanely low salary. I got more than that when I was an entry level and you're an exp hire?? Sorry man, that's rough.
Gotta get out of CD&O. Whether you're doing consulting work or not, CD&O is treated as the staff aug arm and compensated accordingly.
What city are you out of?? That's very low starting
Either they increase the amount, switch me to C&M and increase the amount, or I leave. Simple as that.
I disagree with A8. They do screw over experienced hires and do a pretty good job under-hiring people. You need to fight and fight to be put to the right level...if you're doing good work they need to recognize it. But your salary seems really low....if you start out that low it's very low chance you will be leveled appropriately at the firm. I would shop around and make sure you don't reveal your current salary to the new recruiters.
It's one thing for them to give us less, but it's in no way close. We are being given scraps. And the craziest part about it is that none of the work I do is technical. I work with CM folks and we all do the same thing.
Not true M1. Most of the company is now being moved to cd&o; its no longer treated as just staff aug. OP- it seems you are severely under paid though. What city?

I'm mc and started at 75k in houston out of college
As analyst. Just got promoted to SA
Bounce. I was in the same boat back in January. They started me off at 63k.
What was your salary before you started with ACN? I came in as a consultant and got screwed bc my salary pre-consulting was relatively low. You'll probably see it level out with a promotion to consultant.
If you look at your overall % raise it's like 7%. That's pretty good for a "promotion" to SR analyst since that's not even really a real promotion. That said, your starting salary is woefully low
