Hi, I’m 30yrs old and by next week I will be 31yrs old. Got married 2 yrs ago and we have been trying for kids from past 7 months but no luck, we try to have sex almost all 7 days of fertile window. I get my periods regularly, I don’t have thyroid nor PCOD. My Gyn did all test, and everything looks fine, my ovaries, Fallopian tubes , harmonies. Do I need to see fertility doctor ,if so, how is the best fertility doctor near Boston area. Need inputs for next steps before it’s too late 😒
Why don’t you take swim lessons? It bothers you that you don’t know how, it is indeed a good skill to have, it’s good exercise, could be a fun new hobby that you’ll love, could allow you to meet new people outside your normal circle. Do it!
Seriously, take swimming lessons. It is a good skill to have.
In high school I taught a retired man how to swim - he said it was something he put off his whole life and finally embraced the fear. It was one of the most impactful experiences I had, and he was so so so thankful. I guarantee someone at your local YMCA/fitness club would be more than happy to teach you!!
Nice! Yep is the plan. Thanks.
Can’t swim and can’t ride a bike either. Whatever if I die I die.

You can probably figure this out within one or two swim lessons (or YouTube and some practice). Go for it!
Yes. You’re the only person in the entire world who can’t swim.
Honestly just do what my mom did with me:
Put a floatie vest on, and every time you come out of the pool, let out some of the air without telling yourself.
It’s a wonder what you figure out when you’re trying not to drown.
That’s a great idea! Never heard of this before.
I can't either, never learned.
Go to a local swim team and ask an assistant coach if they can teach you. It will feel great accomplishing that!

Me too. And after I almost drowned in the ocean I’m even scared to try now. 😂

Lol. I had my friends around me and we were drunk and feeling adventurous too. So 🤷🏻♀️
This is fascinating to me I don’t think I know anyone who doesn’t know how to swim. Is there a reason you never learned?
You’d be surprised. Something like 54% of the US isn’t able to swim at a basic level. Poor people don’t learn how to swim apparently.

I took swimming lessons in my mid twenties because I never learned how to swim

I’ve never learned either but I HAVE to this year. I cannot continue like this, especially since I love traveling to beach countries all the time 😭
I can swim but can’t bike 🙃
OP, you and I just need a runner and we have a full triathlon!
Ha I can run and bike ok, could be just the two of us teaming up here... :)
I also can’t swim
Lets trade swimming and pay.
You are just fine
You are not alone. My husband is going to teach me how to ride a bike this summer though.
Do they make prescription goggles for swimmers? I am gonna need one because I can't see without glasses/contacts.

OP... I grew in Miami, learned how to swim around 10, totally forgot as an adult, almost drowned and now at 33, learned how to swim again - laps and all. Tbh, it’s nbd and I wish I started lessons again sooner. I have recommendations if you’re in nyc ❤️
Btw I can get from point A to point B if I don’t have to stop. And I can do a few different strokes while at it too. 🤷♂️
