It’s a dry heat.
It's not the same heat but it's still a heat. I hated it, it was too much. You can't really be outside in it. The only nice thing is you don't walk anywhere in Texas so you very rarely have to endure it for too long.
A friend from Arizona told me dry heat is worse, because you’re constantly dehydrated and your skin gets messed up from the lack of humidity.

Nah just drink water.... Dry cold is 100x worse. Wet heat/ dry cold are the worst

Some people like the heat. A lot of my family lives down there and they’re all fine with it. Folks tend to stay inside during the hottest times of day and go out in the mornings / evenings. Personally I don’t enjoy the heat and would never want to live there again

I feel the same way about people living in Seattle. You cannot pay me enough to live in the winter gloom, however beautiful the place may be. It is good though that people have different preferences. That way our population stays distributed across the country.
