I cleared two technical rounds in EY , and they said third one will be a technical round with client, will it be a difficult one ?

Junior associates, when you get staffed on a new deal, do you bill the time spent browsing the matter folder for some background (e.g. looking at structure charts, reading initial drafts of the term sheet and transaction summary decks)? I know it’s not client work per se, but it’s getting up to speed with the deal.

Anyone else project confidence and calmness but secretly get really stressed out or irritated easily? When I'm with people who talk slowly for example I get so irritated on the inside I feel like I could scream, but I obviously can't show that so I just pretend to be listening when really the person is talking so slowly that I forget the word they've said by the time they get to the next one. Tips for calming the f down? I'm tense all the time.

4 YoE as a systems analyst/business analyst for a fintech based out of NC. Got promoted twice, base pay went from 62k to 93k, bonus went from 8% to 20%. Got experience with agile, jira, rest Api’s, ssdlc, basically can handle my own as a project manager/product owner. Wanting to know what’s out there, looking to get at least 175k TC, what do i need to do next.

Guys, I have a stupid client. Like, really stupid. Nothing we explain (in any format) gets absorbed, her agency AND team is constantly trying to help her understand things without patronizing...

How do you manage unreasonable client expectations when the client is unsophisticated? Have a client who expected her deal to close next week despite the purchase agreement not even having been finalized or discussed with the other party’s counsel and the lender not having approved the financing for the acquisition.

Me: Team that does this work doesn’t belong to us and they’re at full capacity. We can talk to them about getting it next sprint.
Client: That’s not what I want to hear. Need by tomorrow.
Me: "shrugs"

If I've been on the bench for a month and can't find a project but my utilization is still 110% should I be worried?

Just now realizing--months after the fact--that my firm secretly cut hours that I submitted. It's not as if they just didn't charge the client; the hours have been erased off of the system like they never existed. Has this happened to anybody else?

They offered a package of 3.6 LPA in placement and last year it increased to 3.8 LPA as we were offered only 5% increment.
I feel we are underpaid according to the market.
