Had a recent job offer from Amazon TC 146 K sign on bonus 42K RSU 508 for a L6 Sr. Program manager based out of Nashville. This is barely more than the amount I make now(actually base is lower than what I make). I’m planning to ask for about 18% more, is that a high number? Does anyone have an idea how much Amazon negotiates? This is for a non tech role so I’m not sure of the exact salary range.

Being recognized for my “talent” ie I iterate like I will die if I don’t make all possibilities, and given more control and management responsibilities are all good and positive things for my career but I really wished I felt excited and vindicated, and not just this intense weariness at the prospect of doing this more

At work during casual convos I can see everyone’s insecurities on their faces when I say something they don’t understand.
