What is the legal ratio of adults:students in an ECSE inclusion setting? In a reverse mainstream setting? Are Title I PreK classrooms required to have a para and teacher? What is the ratio for that? What is the legal ratio of adults:students in a mixed 4 y/o PreK setting? (#___ SPED+ #___regular=1 teacher and ____paras) Specifically in Louisiana, but curious about other states, as well!

I recently got married and started talking to my sister in law more often. She addresses me as “Bro” EVERY SINGLE TIME. She knows I identify as female. I absolutely hate because it’s a sign of deeply ingrained patriarchy and I also find it disrespectful. I never address anyone as bro, dude, man etc because I honestly find it very disrespectful. I would rather be addressed by my name. How can I handle this situation? We are still forming a reltnship & don’t want to hurt that process. I’m Indian.

I tried to handle a mental health issue on my own, but failed and am at a breaking point. My work is clearly suffering, but I have no medical history to request FMLA or accomodation. What should I do? Request unpaid, unprotected leave? Get a psychiatrist and try to treat now while hoping to improve at work? Something else? Before you ask: taking a week off to recharge won't work. Self-harm isn't an issue beyond risk of failed self-medication.
