Hello everyone,
I have recently been hired as an Engineer Trainee from campus placements. The Job Description mentions both AI/ML and software development domains. I am more into the AI/ML side, but it seems that the team I am assigned to, is more into the software development side.
Is it possible that:
1. I get tasks on the AI/ML side in my current team?
2. Is there a way to switch to another team which works more on the AI/ML side? And will it be easy?

Hello All,
I have recently joined FIS Global but there are some issues with the laptop that I have received. It shall be replaced now. Because of this I haven't been able to update my salary account details in workday yet. I received a mail yesterday that it should be done before 13.05.2022.
Can anyone please share the contact details of the support team who can help me in this case?

Ask for what you want and see what they offer in return. You get what they give if you don’t ask for more. If you have a trip planned, most employers can a accommodate at least that for the first year.
12? That is obscene. Don’t work there.
Ditto ☹️ I'm at 24. Recently tried to negotiate at a small private company but couldn't get them to budge past 15. Spoiled by publicis 😩

I had to deal with roughly the same numbers... I told them what I currently had, that I had to get at least 20 and they agreed to it.
Ask for more money to make up the difference
Say hey thanks for the offer and I really like you guys, but I’ve been doing this for xx years and you’re offering me the same amount of pto as someone just starting out, so...
My recent experience is that if you’re not senior enough, you can’t
Sounds like you're probably mixing up PTO days with Vacation days (vacation is part of the pto total).
I’d negotiate for more, not less. That way, you’ll get more pto.
I've had a harder time negotiating for days off than salary. Most companies, unless they're really small independents (which usually can't afford to give long vacations) are really limited in how much they can offer even at the executive level.
