What city should I move to for a month (February)? Only requirement is that it must be in the US and must have reliable internet for remote work. Preferences: (1) Some place I don’t need winter clothes (2) Some place walkable / won’t need a car for the whole time. I’ll go with the most liked suggestion

Hi guys, I am a technical architect with more than 13 yoe in infosys. This is posted from a friends profile as i am not able to access my account. My current CTC is 16.I have an offer from a start up for 36lpa. Given the current market craze, I am wondering what to ask ITC infotech during my upcoming HR discussion. Heard even though the offer is for bangalore location, ITC is allowing WFH. Please suggest. Thanks, Siddhartha

I'm starting to look around for something impactful and could use some help. Amazon's remote roles are pretty limited. I have a heavy background with cloud, AI/ML and data. Looking to be involved with using my skills to move the needle on something interesting and engaging but not wanting to work grueling hours. Higher pay has usually driven my career moves. Netflix, Stripe and Slack seem appealing. But honestly, mainly because of the pay and prestige.

WFH helped me hide so much about my social anxiety! I love consulting because I feel it works so well with my ADHD (I don't check the time at all). I am rocking my role like crazy and I enjoy every second of it. But social anxiety is killing me AF. I don't want to use meds, but at the same time, social interactions can easily make me depressed! I am always scared to fail.

Remote work opportunities? I'm looking for firms to look into. Currently in health. I think this will be disruptive (given we can't be on site... and my firm isn't used to delivering remotely).

If a firm sent you free tech for WFH (monitors, docking station, keyboard, and mouse), are you obligated to return it once you leave? Obviously will return the laptop, but was wondering if it’s normal/expected to keep everything else. Insights appreciated! (Relatedly: laterals, do your new firms send you stuff or give you a stipend for your home office? Assuming at least partial remote for now)
