Hi Guys, need help from you
I interviewed for tcs for SAP function Consultant and cleared technical as well as managerial round on same day. Next day I received mail from HR that I have been shortlisted and require to submit all the documents.
My CCTC is 21 LPA ( 19 fixed) and I put my expectations as 27 LPA (30 percent hike on Current CTC), YOE- 5.8 years till now and then need to serve 3 month NP ( till joining 6 years)
Which designation should I ask to TCS HR?
Mad CTC can I expect from TCS?Tata Consultancy

1) Exit opportunities. Looking at what you want to do after FDD, does the Big4 name matter? Unfortunately some companies/firms/roles either strongly prefer Big4 or flat out reject non-Big4 applicants. However you can always lateral into a Big4 firm if that's the case.
2) Deal types. I'm guessing EY will provide more opportunities than RSM in working on bigger deals or working with bigger PE/Corporate clients. RSM's bread and butter is middle market. There are pros and cons to each, but it all depends on your personal goals as to what type of experience you'll prefer.
Outside of those two factors, I can't image there's much of a difference between the two firms. Hours will most likely be the same and culture will depend on the group you join.
I’d add work-life balance (most RSMers are former big 4 and agree balance is better here) and admin/back office (Big 4 has more budget for admin. systems - think putting in your time, client management, etc). Good luck!

Will also add, I’ve never been screamed at, and I’ve worked at 2 big4s. Agree with EY2, that’s some people’s personal issues, I don’t think it’s reflective of Big4 culture
The experience won’t be wildly different between the two firms. Make the call based on the people you’ve interacted with at EY and RSM

Just choose the place with the people you like the best and who you’d feel most comfortable going to with stupid questions. That’s the biggest gating item - of you can’t ask questions and learn, doesn’t matter where you are.
